LAWTON, (Aug. __, 2022) – Comanche Nation Entertainment has announced the appointment of three longtime team members as general managers of its Oklahoma gaming properties.
Shandi Tahhahwah is now General Manager of Comanche Cache Casino, Jennifer Simmons is General Manager of Comanche Star Casino and Bohone Poorbuffalo is General Manager of Comanche Spur Casino. With more than 45 years of combined gaming experience, all three executives are enrolled members of the Comanche Nation.

In their new positions, each are responsible for overseeing all casino departments and operations, supervising team members and establishing collaborative work environments, determining company goals and managing financial operations.
Tahhahwah joins Comanche Cache Casino from her role as operations manager at Comanche Nation Casino. Since joining the company in 2007, she has held a variety of titles across three different properties, including marketing manager and internal auditor with the Comanche Nation Gaming Commission, where she also contributed to writing the Tribal Internal Control Standards (TICS).
Simmons’ extensive background with Comanche Nation Entertainment includes being one of the first employees of Comanche Star Casino. Prior to her appointment, Simmons spearheaded this year’s grand opening of the team’s newest property in over 14 years, Comanche War Pony Casino.
Poorbuffalo is Comanche Nation Entertainment’s youngest General Manager and brings nearly a decade of experience to his new role. The entirety of Poorbuffalo’s career has been spent within the hospitality and gaming industry, working his way through nearly every department of casino operations across two different properties.
